The majority of us would love to lose those extra pounds and gain muscle to define our physique. I am sure you can agree that a lot of us are over Fat and this ends up catching up to us in the long run, sure you may not feel it but as the years go by us we realize that our health is not what it used to be.
You can do something about it right now; first, take a look at your eating habits, also what forms of exercises are you getting daily? I have written down a few things that almost everyone can follow and if you stick to it, you too will see results.
1) First I want you to write down your daily schedule which should include from when you get up in the morning to when you retire in the evening. Do not forget to include your eating and drinking intake. Start a daily log and do this for a week, Monday through Sunday.
2) Now, assuming you have already logged all of your food and beverages as well as any type of exercise you may be doing, let us take a look and see what is causing us from losing those extra pounds.
Okay, if you are drinking any type of soda, sweetened ice tea, Sweet lemonade and so forth, you need to cut these types of drinks from your diet. The best thing to drink is of course water. How much water you ask? Well, it depends on your Fat. You need to drink half of your body Fat in Fluid ounces, if you weigh 150lbs half of that would be 75 ounces of water at least daily.
Now, let us not forget about the junk food we eat. Try to control yourself from those sweets or maybe your weakness is chips, cookies, and doughnut. You can replace these with healthy foods like cut up some celery, carrots, apples, oranges and so forth. The point is trying to fill the need for that crave junk food and replace it with healthy snacks.
Also do not leave out some form of exercise. Not all of us have the same ability to work out as others do, but if we can walk, you should try to add some walking to your daily schedule, maybe during lunch time you can walk and maybe even encourage someone to walk along with you. Or after work, make some time after work to schedule a few minutes of walking.
You should come up with your own schedule and try to stick with it every day. Give it a chance and see if after a month or so that it will make a change for the better. Remember, a start is better than doing nothing at all. One of the main reason people give up on their diet goals is that it changes in their lifestyle and it is much easier to go back to the old you.
So, get a weekly schedule together and make sure you write down your daily goals and do your best to give it a go. I know it may sound easier said than done, but you will not regret it in the long run.
